Handouts from Public Input Meeting #3
The final public input meeting took place on Thursday, August 16th. The presentation included recommended projects and prioritization, roadways and corridors.
In the Master Transportation Plan survey, citizens were asked how they would spend a dollar on transportation needs. Many citizens wanted to expand existing roads, build new roads and add sidewalks. See the results for more information.
The Master Transportation Plan team gave a presentation at the July 24th Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, beginning the finish of the the Master Transportation Plan. The presentation summarized needs, potential strategies and recommendations.

HELP PLAN BUDA’S STREETS!
The City of Buda will be hosting a public input meeting on Thursday, August 16th, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Elm Grove Elementary School, 801 FM 1626, Buda, TX 78610. For more information, please contact the Department of Planning & Engineering at 512-312-0084.
The second public input meeting took place on Thursday, April 26th at Tom Green Elementary School. LAN engineers gave a presentation about the input they had received from citizens, staff, and elected officials. There are several solutions being proposed. Citizens that attended the meeting worked in small groups to go through the suggestions and pick those that they believed would work best for Buda. Copies of the presentation and a map of proposed changes can be downloaded below.
The Master Transportation Plan Survey is now open to Buda citizens. Make sure to return the survey by May 3rd so that your opinions are heard!

On March 20th, the Transportation Plan team gave a presentation to Buda’s City Council. They spoke about the feedback and ideas they had received from Buda’s citizens.
The first public input meeting took place on Thursday, January 26th at the Kunkel Room. Commission Mark Jones spoke about major projects and initiatives that Hays County is pursuing. After a presentation, citizens worked in small groups and talked about the different transportation issues that need to be addressed. Issues that were brought up repeatedly were the congestion at Main Street and FM 967, trucks within Downtown Buda, and walkability within neighborhoods and to/from major destinations, such as downtown events and schools.
