What is a Transportation Master Plan?
The Transportation Master Plan is a blueprint for future transportation development that will serve expected land usages. It will outline which projects or programs the city plans to focus on to provide transportation services for its citizens, keeping in mind broader community goals. The Transportation Master Plan will be made with input from Buda’s citizens (through public input meetings and a survey), City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, Engineering and Planning department, and engineering consultants.

What are our community goals?
During the City of Buda’s Comprehensive Plan process, citizens identified subjects that they believed were important to the quality of life of the residents of Buda. These goals included transportation issues, including:

• Trucks out of downtown
• Downtown congestion
• Get east/west traffic out of downtown
• Pedestrian mobility
• Bicycle mobility
• Neighborhood congestion
• Public transit
